All ZP1.com team members currently have full time jobs. We spend our extra time developing, maintaining and growing this website. We enjoy providing a free service. We use some minimal paid advertisements from other resources and place them around major content of each page. Our visitors can get more information from these paid advertisements and, if interested, click through for more information about other products and services. However, we do not actively stress or imply that our visitors should click these paid advertisements if they are not interested.

Post and Manage Advertisements

- What kind of advertisements can I post?

Advertisements in all categories are welcome. However, we prohibit the advertising of any item that is illegal. Please read the User Agreement for details.

- I could not find a category that fits my advertisement. How to suggest one?

If you would like to suggest a new category or sub-category, please send us your feedback. We will consider your suggestion in next website update. We cannot guarantee the addition of a new category but we value suggestions and feedback and will make every effort to add suggested categories. Before we add the new category, you may post your classified ad in a closely similar category.

- Is there any limitation on the format and size of advertisement description?

Currently, the advertisement description should be in text format only. HTML format is not supported. The size of advertisement description can be up to 5000 characters.

- Why do I have to send an ad confirmation via email after the posting of a new ad?

This confirmation email of your classified ad are required to access (update, modify, extend, delete) your ad later. Entering a valid email address for each ad now is required during posting. We have limited resource to handle user comments or requests. Now we ask the user to keep the confirmation email message after posting for the purpose of extending, updating, modifying or deleting your ad later. You need to write the ad ID and ad password on your note.

If you delete the confirmation email message ZP1 can resend your confirmation email. Please send requests using our Feedback Form. Please mention your ad ID when you send request. We will resend your email confirmation to you. If you forget the ad ID, you may search ads on our website using one or more most important keywords from your ad title and description, and try to find your ad from the search result. The ad ID is part of the URL (shown at the address box of your browser) of viewing the individual ad page.

- Should I give my email address and phone number when posting new advertisement?

They are optional. In order for an interested party to contact you via email or phone, you may add these when posting your classified ad. If you just want others to visit your related website, you may leave these fields blank and type in your other link/URL. Please be aware, if you provide your contact information, they are visible to all individual visitors and search engines. Your contact information could be shown on search engines' result page or cache. Please read our Privacy Statement for more information.

- Is there any way to keep my ad on top of the search list?

Yes. We provide a feature "Update". It does not change the content of your ad. It just changes the last modified time (one attribute we stored in our database) of your ad as current time. The search result list by category and ad owner name now is sorted by the update time (last modified time). The latest is shown first. Every time you "Update" or Modify your ad, the last modified time is changed to current time. So, your ad can be displayed on top of the search list (except featured ads) by just "Updating" your ad.

- How many times can I "Update" my ad?

Currently there is no limitation of updating any ad. You can update your ad at any time when you visit our website.

- What are the benefits to use the "Update" ad feature?

In addition to keeping your ad on top of search result, here are other benefits:
  - Save your time to post your ad.
  - Reduce the number of duplicate ads.
  - Avoid your ads being deleted. When we see duplicate ads, we may delete one or more of your duplicate ads,
    or sometimes delete all of your posts if we see too many duplicate ads from you.

The most important, visitors can find your ad:
  - Your ad is displayed on top of search result by category on our website.
  - Your ad could be indexed and cached by major search engines after it is online. The visitors of these
    search engines could find your ad by searching some keywords that exist in your ad content.
    They click the link to our website and view the details of your ad. If you delete your old
    ad because you want to post a new one with same content (avoid duplicate posts), the visitors
    from search engines will get a message that the ad is deleted. There is no way to redirect
    them to your new ad.

So, we encourage you to use the Update feature.

- Can I post same or similar content advertisements in same or different categories?

Your advertisement can be searched by keywords no matter in what category. Please do not post the same ad in the same category more than once on the same day. We do not check duplicate posting when submitting new advertisement. However, we could delete any post from wrong category. One or all duplicate ads from the same owner could be deleted too. We recognize the owner by name and the IP address. Please do not post your same content advertisement to every category. If we feel you are abusing the free service, all your posts could be deleted without notice.

- How long does an ad run?

All ads can be online for 30 days by default. When posting your Free Classified Ad you can choose an Extended Option Package and your ad will run for up to 120 days before it expires. An ad can be extended unlimited times. Users can delete their ads at any time using the links contained in the confirmation email message. An ad could be deleted by our team for various reasons include but not limited to duplicate postings.

Search and View Advertisements

- How many ways can I look for advertisements in your website?

There are 4 approaches to search advertisements posted on this website: search by categories, search by keywords, search by ad owner name, and search by ad ID. When search by keywords, you may specify category, target state and/or city to narrow down the search results. Id you specify a state, the ads targeting on "All States" or the given state will be returned. Go to Advanced Search for more details.

- What is the list order of advertisements on search result pages?

When search by keywords, the matching advertisements are listed by relevancy. Highest relevant advertisement is listed on the top. You may ignore lower relevant advertisements. When search by categories or owner name, the matching advertisements are listed by update time (last modified time). Most recently updated advertisement is listed on the top.

- What should I do if I am interested in an advertisement?

You may click on the URL (if available) following Related Link to get more information. You may contact the advertisement owner if email address and/or phone numbers are available.

- Should I report any cheat or abuse?

Yes. If you find any advertisement that cheats others or abuses our free web advertising services, please Contact Us. We reserve the right to delete such advertisement and may even block the owner from posting more advertisements.
